GenStat User Area

The GenStat user area provides access to procedures, documentation and discussion lists that are produced by users of GenStat. VSNi documentation is available separately.

VSNi greatly appreciates all the effort of our users in producing these facilities and their continued support. VSNi also encourages users new and old to share their procedures with other users either by submitting their procedure to be included in the main GenStat library or by making them available on this user area.

Technical note: GenStat for Windows has the following minimum requirements :

Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP or Vista

64 MB RAM

230 MB hard disk space for full installation

GenStat Discussion List

The GenStat discussion list is a lively electronic discussion list where GenStat enthusiasts share experiences and opinions on a wide range of GenStat and statistical matters.

GenStat Procedures

Biometris GenStat Procedure Library

The Biometris GenStat procedure library contains a set of procedures in which new and existing statistical methodology is implemented, to extend the current facilities within GenStat. The procedure library is written and distributed by Biometris, Wageningen UR.

Resources for GenStat

The SSC (Reading) and their partners at ICRAF (agroforestry) and BUCS (University of Nairobi) have produced an introductory guide for GenStat and a guide for analysing climatic data using GenStat.
