Event Log

The Event Log provides a log of events within a GenStat session. An event is an action that occurs during the GenStat session such as a fault or warning message, clearing of output or restarting the server. The Event Log is usually minimized, but can be opened to quickly reference events. New events are appended to the Event Log with a unique ID, so you can view all the messages generated during a long session. For fault or warning events a double-click on the item within the list will take you directly to the corresponding fault/warning within the Output Window.

Details

This provides additional information about the currently selected event. For example, for a fault or warning this provides a full description of the error.
