To select a subset of columns for loading from a worksheet in a Quattro or
Excel spreadsheet file check the box "Select Columns for Inclusion" on the
Select Worksheet menu. This brings up a dialog that lists the available columns,
from which you can select those to be loaded into GenStat.
Available Columns
This lists columns in the currently selected worksheet. The names of the columns
are derived from the first row of the spreadsheet, if possible, otherwise default
names A, B, C, and so on are used.
Selected Columns
Lists columns selected for loading into GenStat. Columns are selected from the
those listed in Available Columns, then copied using the
button. Individual column names can be copied over by double-clicking on them.
Multiple selections can be made using the left mouse button in conjunction
with the Control or Shift keys.
