Reorder Sheets within a Book

This dialog can be used to rearrange the order that the sheets are displayed within a book. The sheets are displayed in the order that the names appear in the Sheet Order list.

Sheet Order

Displays the order of the sheets within the book. Items within the list can be reordered by selecting the name of the sheet to be moved and clicking on the Top, Up, Down or Bottom buttons. The up and down arrow, Home, End and Page Up/Down keys can also be used to move a sheet name within the list.

TopMove the selected item to the top of the list.
UpMove the selected item up one place in the list.
DownMove the selected item down one place in the list.
BottomMove the selected item to the bottom of the list.

Action Buttons

OKReorder the sheets in the book and close the dialog.
CancelClose the dialog without further changes.

Example

The following dialogs shows the reordering of some sheets within a book. The sheets displayed in the dialog on the left were reordered to the list shown within the right dialog using the following actions:
  1. The sheet Design 3 was selected. The Top button followed by the Down button were clicked to place this sheet within the second position in the list.
  2. The sheet Contrast 2 was selected and the Up button was clicked twice to move it up two places in the list.
  3. The sheet SED Design 1 was selected. The Bottom and Up buttons were clicked respectively to place the sheet at the second to last position in the list.
