Display

Controls aspects of the display.

Status bar	When selected, the status bar is enabled at the bottom of the main window.
Use docked data view	When selected, the data in GenStat will be displayed using a docked view on the left side of the interface. If this is not selected then the data are displayed in dialog.

Recent File list

Allows you to specify the number of most recently opened files that will appear on the File menubar.

Recent Working Directory List

Allows you to specify the number of most recently opened working directory that will be stored in the list on the working directory menu.

Show Start Dialog

When selected, this displays a startup dialog box each time you start GenStat. This provides an immediate choice between creating a new spreadsheet or text window, or opening an existing file.

New Text Window on Startup

When selected, GenStat will start with a blank text window open.

New Spreadsheet on Startup

When selected, GenStat will start with a blank spreadsheet open. The size of the spreadsheet can be chosen by entering the number of rows and columns.

Reload Last Session

When selected, GenStat will save the current session when you exit, and reload it next time you start Genstat.

User Add-in Folder

Specifies the location of the user add-in folder. This folder can be used to store procedure libraries or custom menu add-ins. You can browse for a folder by clicking on the

button.

Action Buttons

OK	Save the options and close the dialog.
Cancel	Close the dialog without making any changes.
