This menu is used for plotting data, like wind speeds, that are observed at angles around a circle. Once the
data have been selected you can draw the graph by clicking on Finish, alternatively, additional options can be
set by clicking the Next button.
Data Values
Specifies variates containing the data values. Select the name of the identifier for the data values from the list
of available variates. You can double-click or use the
button (for multiple selections) to enter the identifier name(s) into the Data Currently
Selected for Plotting section. Alternatively, type the name of the identifier in directly and press return
to enter it into the list.
Angles
Specifies a variate or factor containing the data values. If a variate is supplied, the observations are grouped for
plotting into sectors based on the width (in degrees) and centres specified in the additional options. If a factor is
supplied, its levels define the midpoints of the sectors and these must be in clockwise order. Select the name of the
identifier for the data from the list of available variates and double-click to copy the name to the
Data Currently Selected for Plotting section. Alternatively, type the name of the identifier in directly and press
return to enter it into the list.
