VSNi Australia opens for business

We are delighted to announce the opening of a new VSNi office in Sydney, Australia to service Oceania. The ever increasing interest in GenStat and ASReml data analysis software has encouraged VSNi to set up in Australia and offer direct support to our growing user base in Oceania. VSNi Australia will provide sales, training and consultancy services. The company will be headed up by Maryann Ebsworth a long term user and GenStat enthusiast. Having worked with GenStat for many years, Maryann has joined us to head up the office in Oceania.

Previously, as the Managing Director of the Statistical Advisory Training Service, she provided statistical consultancy to businesses, academics and tertiary students. She and her colleagues developed a variety of statistical training courses, locally and internationally, for beginners through to advanced statisticians.

Their preferred software package on these courses has always been GenStat.

“Maryann is ideal to support our users technically and commercially, we’re very excited to have her on the team,” says Stewart Andrews, CEO VSNi, “It’s good to know that we have someone so well suited and knowledgeable on statistics and GenStat working on the ground, supporting people in their own time zone. In the past our users in Oceania have been incredibly patient dealing with us across the time zones.”
