| Is there an easy way or a script to prepare pin file to get the functions of variance components in a multi trait analysis when you have more than 15 traits like me? :? |

I use XL to prepare pin file code, it is useful for keeping track of var comp numbers and I use the drag-down function to short-cut writing out the code and patterns in the calculations. Then you can simply highlight those cells, copy and paste into Context (Oh, I forgot to say - I use Context to program ASReml).
Cheers, Andrew. |

Thank you, Andrew. I am going to try your advice. I wish VSN has been aware that this is a real pain.
Kind regards,
