<  GenStat  ~  Question about VQUANTILES

Dear all,

Sorry if I am missing the obvious but I am afraid I do not understand the reason for the difference between the two pieces of code below.

1. Using the procedure QUANTILE

vari[valu=1,2,3,4,5] AAA
quan[prop=0.25] AAA

2. Using the function VQUANTILES

vari[valu=1,2,3,4,5] AAA
poin[valu=AAA$[1...5]] D
prin D[]
prin vqua(D;0.25)

In the above case, I am even less clear when trying, for instance, the 0.025 quantile instead of the 0.25.
