FLEXnet License Components Download
VSNi applications use the FLEXnet License Management system to control use of the software. To run an application such as GenStat or ASReml using a network license requires the installation of the FLEXnet license management software on a suitable server host.
FLEXnet was known as FLEXlm prior to version 10.0. Users of GenStat 11th Edition or ASReml version 3 should use the new FLEXnet components provided on this page. We also recommend using the latest versions of FLEXnet with older versions of our software. Older versions of the FLEXlm files are available from our FLEXlm archive. FLEXlm files are fully upward-compatible with FLEXnet.
Installing FLEXnet on a Windows Server
The simplest way to install FLEXnet on a Windows server is to download the FLEXnet v11.6 (Windows platforms only) installation package. If you already have FLEXnet on your host server then you can download version 11.6 of the FLEXnet binaries and VSN daemon from the table below.
