Technical Business Development Manager (closed)

VSNi are seeking a bright and ambitious individual to fulfil the new role of Technical Business Development Manager.

Main Duties

• Formulation and delivery of specific sector product feature presentations, supporting documentation and demonstrations.
• Market and technology research including competitor analysis and research trends.
• Assist and contribute, via feedback, to new product development.
• Relationship building with key customers and target organisations. Understanding their data needs and assist in their problem solving.
• Assist with marketing, advertising and promotion planning including trade shows and sector specific conferences.
• Business planning; mathematical and statistical modelling of business indicators and commercial activities.

Skills and Expectations

• Graduate or graduate calibre self starter.
• Background in either statistics or applied statistical techniques within biological or life science research.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Software applications skills including MS Office, data analysis packages such as GenStat.
• Approval to work freely within UK & EU.
• The post will be based at our offices in Hemel Hempstead UK.
