ASReml R not running on 64 bit machine

Problem

ASReml R will not run on a 64 bit machine once the license key has been installed?

Solution

In this case the license wants to be put in:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\VSN International\Licenses

instead of:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\VSN International\Licenses
